Rugby: The Power of A Dream, pt. 3

"I can't help feeling and believing that good seed was sown when Rugby was founded and that some day the reapers, whoever they may be, will come along with joy bearing heavy sheaves with them. "
                                                       -Thomas Hughes

As the 1880s draw to a close, so also does the Hughes legacy in Rugby. Following the death of her grandmother and financee, Emily moves to Massachussetts with her father. Thomas Hughes would die in Brighton, England years later. Though the early 1900s would see bleak times for the community, Rugby receives a much needed new beginning from an unlikely source in the 1960s.

As Rugby transitions from community to living museum we see proof that though some people dream big dreams and fail, they still achieve far more than they ever would have had they not--and that is the legacy of Thomas Hughes and the community of Rugby.
