Tyson Park resides near the University of Tennessee campus and the downtown region of Knoxville and boasts a wide array of recreational opportunities to Knoxvillians.
Tyson Park is one of Knoxville's largest accessible playgrounds. With tons of swings and obstacles to keep the kids occupied for hours. Tyson Park is also well known for its massive softball fields or team Tennis courts that are accessible at night, three large reservable picnic shelters, and accessible rest rooms makes this park a fun destination. Tyson Park is also slated to be one of Knoxville's first skateboarding parks due for completion in 2007. |
